NDIS Behaviour Support
We specialise in developing NDIS-funded Behaviour Support Plans for participants with behaviours of concern.
Training & Capacity Building
We provide tailored training to support workers and family members in understanding and responding to behaviours in safe, respectful, and supportive ways.
Initial Consultation and Referral Review
We begin by understanding the participant’s needs and goals through a review of referral information and an initial conversation. This helps ensure the right supports are in place from the start.
Comprehensive Functional Behaviour Assessment
A thorough assessment process designed to identify the reasons behind behaviours of concern, using observation, interviews, and existing reports to guide our recommendations.
Development of Interim or Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans
We develop behaviour support plans that are practical, evidence-based, and tailored to the individual’s environment. Plans focus on proactive strategies, skill-building, and reducing restrictive practices.
Ongoing Collaboration and Training with Support Teams
We work closely with support workers, families, and allied health professionals to ensure the plan is implemented effectively and with confidence.
Restrictive Practice Reporting (as Required)
Where restrictive practices are in use, we support providers to comply with NDIS Commission requirements and implement strategies that work towards the reduction and eventual elimination of these practices.
Regular Reviews, Outcome Tracking, and Plan Updates
We monitor progress and make adjustments as needed. Our regular reviews ensure strategies remain relevant, effective, and aligned with the participant’s goals.
